Let the games begin! Art Basel unofficially kicked off last night with a celebration of PIN–UP Magazine No. 13, Fall Winter 2012/13. Held at the private Miami Beach home of architects George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, the dessert reception honored W Hotels Designer of the Future award winner Philippe Malouin, who is prominently featured in PIN–UP’s new issue. Lauren Devine, budding pop sensation and muse to artist Ryan Trecartin, made a surprise performance to debut her new single “Love U Far” (produced by Teengirl Fantasy), wearing a customized day-glo dress by JF&Son. Guests included Design Miami director Marianne Goebl, Mark Fletcher, PIN-UP Founder Felix Burrichter, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Caroline Roux, Sotheby's Tobias Meyer, Lorenzo Martone, Rafael de Cárdenas, Marissa Sackler, Ryan Trecartin, Pablo Léon de la Barra, Lucy McIntyre, Todd Eberle, Richard Pandiscio, Alexandra Cunningham, Horacio Silva, Armand Limnander, Maarten de Ceulaer, Clemens Weisshaar, Nina Yashar, Cyril Duval, Simon Castets, Phil Aarons, Shelley Fox Aarons, Alex Cohen, Suzy Buckley, John Lin, Julie Boukobza, Oskar Metsavaht, Ricky Clifton, Anni Kotob, Patrick Parrish, Maria Wettergren, Johnny Misheff, Michael Bullock, and Marsha Brady.
