Guess Who's Coming To Dinner
The only person that could postpone a dinner party thrown by joint hosts Anna Wintour and Harvey Weinstein? The President, bien sur. An intimate soiree thrown by the two moguls as a fundraiser for the Obama campaign is slated for next week, according to Page Six. The event was originally scheduled for mid-July, but was postponed because the President was distracted by the debt ceiling crisis. Oh, that! The going price for seats at one of the four intimate tables: a cool $71,600 per couple. Those who have already written and signed enormous checks for the sold-out din din include Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin, Tory Burch, and Alicia Keys. How we wish we could eavesdrop on what the entertainment and design elite have to say to POTUS.
