(LOS ANGELES) Announcing her arrival on Rodeo Drive, Solange Azagury-Partridge hosted a chic disco party on Tuesday night to celebrate her new 90210 digs. The luxury jewelry boutique, which has locations in New York and London, with a Singapore opening on the way, drew a smattering of stylish locals who covet the cheeky designs and exciting styles. “I’m a huge fan of hers. I think everything she makes is so different and beautiful, completely cutting-edge. I have a bunch of her pieces, but my favorite is a ruby ring she customized for me,” said jewelry designer, mother and wife to Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Meyer, who met Azagury-Partridge in person for the first time that night. “This is exactly what Rodeo needed. Something fun and young and a little lively!”

Graciously greeting her guests, the designer made the rounds and spoke on her latest venture in L.A. “It’s quite hard to find good locations, so you have to take the chance when you can. This is everything I could dream of,” she said glancing out the storefront. “I love facing Prada and being next door to Tom [Ford]. I designed everything in this store. There’s supposed to be a rainbow motif for the floor, but it’s stuck in customs. Everything is an eclectic mix…it’s whatever I like and whatever I feel. Tonight feels like we’re smashing champagne bottles on the side of a boat. And it’s off!” she described excitedly.

While guests like Anna Paquin and Jennifer Tilly gazed longingly at the jewels and had their auras read in the backroom, Stephen Moyer stood back and admired the regal deep red aesthetic and gorgeous store interiors alongside architect Sally MacKereth. “It’s pretty amazing—like a decadent boudoir, isn’t it?  It’s the sort of padded cell I would have made for myself. I could run into the walls and I wouldn’t hurt myself!” he laughed.

Behind the store, a sexy disco party carried on well into the night, where campaign model Liberty Ross and friends lingered for hours. “I recommended to Solange that a dance party for her L.A. store would be brilliant. I usually like to lock myself in the garage and dance to Madonna, Nine Inch Nails, Prince, Michael Jackson, Metallica, everything!” the supermodel confided. “I hosted a dinner for her at our house on Sunday, and I’ve already had six of my friends come into the store and buy emeralds, diamonds, everything. I worked with Madonna this year and she was wearing a ring and I’m always drenched in her line. I couldn’t be a bigger fan. To me, she embodies class, elegance, sophistication, and yet brings a brilliant edge to jewelry. She is phenomenal. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t wear her stuff. She’s the future of jewelry!”
